Our Founders

Chandrah Nusselein

Chandrah is a co-founder of WasteLess and its team leader since 2011. With her professional background in psychology, anthropology and educational sciences paired with her passion to create experiences that invite curiosity and positive impact, Chandrah is the force leading the entire project cycle of creating the educational programmes. With her infectious laugh, caring and kind personality, she makes the team feel like a big family. Her guiding strong belief is that ‘little drops make a mighty ocean’, Chandrah gives it her all, working hard, always ready to help. Even when the currents get rough, she sails through, taking the team along, never losing sight of the horizon.
If you feel lost, need a reality check or just a hug filled with love, Chandrah is the one to go to address. And to top it all – she always makes sure that the cookie jar is filled!

Ribhu Vohra

Ribhu is a co-founder of WasteLess and its visionary leader since 2011. With a professional background and work experience in Innovative Communication and Hospitality Management, Ribhu is the driving force of WasteLess. He never stops dreaming, tackling every hurdle that comes along the way with a contagious can-do attitude. With his deep passion and commitment to designing uplifting experiences to empower future generations, Ribhu masters the captivating art of pester power, taking everyone in his sphere on a journey that leaves one inspired and ready to join him - making the impossible possible. His ability to instill the work with consciousness in order to reach the highest quality possible pushes everyone in the team to do their best and give it their all.
If you feel down and stop believing, Ribhu will pick you up, making sure you are happy, inspired and ready to rumble. And if Chandrah is the one who makes sure the cookie jars are filled – Ribhu is the one making sure that you eat them all!

Meet the Rest of the Team

Mukta Martens

Mukta is responsible for content development and the social impact monitoring of our educational programmes. She joined the WasteLess team in 2015. Her professional background in Geography, International Relations as well as Water Security make her a dedicated expert focused on detail and quality when it comes to everything related to the scientific materials for the curricula. With her contagious laugh, Mukta makes everyone feel welcomed.

Neha Nagar

Neha is the graphic designer of everything WasteLess. She joined the team in 2021. With a background in Business Administration and an unstoppable passion for art and design, Neha continues to grow through every project and collaboration. Being a hard worker, and sporting an amazing can-do attitude paired with a kind caring personality, Neha’s designs are an incredibly valuable addition to all of WasteLess’s educational curricula.

Aravindh Joseph

Aravindh is in charge of the financial accounts as well as all matters connected to human resources. He joined the WasteLess team in 2023 with the aim to gain more experience in his field of work by moving out of his comfort zone, taking on new challenges with discipline and dedication. Calm, steady and organised, Aravindh is the man for all matters connected to numbers. He is always open and ready to take on new tasks with a happy cheerfulness while giving it his all.

Luise Pape

Luise joined WasteLess in 2023 to support the team for communication as well as creating a fundraising structure and managing the same. With a background in Sociology and Business Management, a never ending curiosity and thirst for learning new things, Luise is passionate and committed to sharing the vision of WasteLess.

Helen Eveleigh

Helen joined the WasteLess team in 2024 as the head of development for the educational curriculum on freshwater. She is a highly experienced professional having worked as a researcher and policy advisor with governmental organisations and NGOs all over the globe.
If things need structure and organising, she is our go-to-woman. And to top it all, Helen is a certified meditation coach for ‘Mindfulness for Stress Reduction’, enabling her to take on every challenge with a calmness and confidence that affects everyone around her.  

Laura Eichhorn

Laura joined the WasteLess team in 2023 as a Volunteer. She is a very creative and talented artist. Committed to protecting the environment and bringing beauty to this world, Laura is taking on projects with dedication, concentration and joy. Always smiling while absorbed in creative designs, Laura is an inspiration to everyone around her and a pleasure to work with.
