Water Project

Our Latest Project: Innovative Education on Fresh Water

At WasteLess, we are always working on developing the next educational curriculum.

Currently, we are shifting our focus on addressing the global water crisis, which scientists worldwide have identified as the next looming disaster. Water is essential to life. However, due to overconsumption and pollution, the amount of freshwater available to us is diminishing. Waste is impacting the quality of water that is available to us. Furthermore, our precious ‘clean’ water sources will be significantly impacted by the effects of climate change. It is estimated that 80% of the world’s population faces significant threats to water security. This crisis is not a distant threat, it is knocking on our doors, demanding immediate action. We cannot wait to act until our taps run dry!

The children of today will be facing this crisis head on. We believe that education on water is a way to proactively address the impending water crisis and forge sustainable solutions. By equipping future generations with the knowledge and tools they need, we can inspire them to become advocates for our planet. Join us to safeguard this invaluable resource for generations to come!

Our Process

Based on our experience gained over the past 12 years in the field of education we are developing the curriculum through a number of phases, which will ensure accuracy, quality and high impact.

Presently, we are in a phase of research and analysis, where we delve into the latest science on water, as well as the pressing issues and available solutions to this crisis. Based on our findings we will develop a unique framework, which will guide us in creating an innovative educational programme.

The next phase is the curriculum development phase. Through pilot testing in participatory sessions involving both students and educators, as well as invaluable guidance from learning design mentors, we will refine and validate our curriculum to ensure its efficacy and relevance.

Our Journey so Far

We have read x number of scientific publications.

We have written x number of words about 12 topics connected to the water crisis.

We interviewed x number of water experts, which took us x number of hours.

We are currently x number of people who are involved in this process.

Through everything we have gathered, heard, read, seen and discovered we believe it is time to act now on the water crisis.

Children are our future and this next generation will be the one facing this crisis with its most severe consequences. Yet, they are the ones who hold the power for change.

We believe that when we give them the tools and confidence to speak their heart, they become the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can safeguard the world’s most precious resource for generations to come.

Support us in tackling the global water crisis through innovative educational curriculums.
